The Milwaukee Brewers offense managed a whopping 5-hits yesterday and it led to a 3-2 10-inning loss to the Florida Marlins.  The Marlins won it on Wes Helms' solo home run in the 10th to give the Marlins the win.  Helms had three hits and 2 runs batted in.

The Brewers bats have been so silent that they failed to pick up a single hit with a runner in scoring position in the three game series.  They went 0 for 7 on Friday night, 0 for 11 on Saturday and 0 for 8 on Sunday.

The Brewers have hit the ball hard at times, but right now they're going right at people.

Starter Manny Parra worked 5 1/3 innings, allowing 2 runs while walking 3 and striking out 3.

Bill Hall homered in the loss, as the Brewers finished up a 3-4 homestand.

Milwaukee is off today, then hits the road for a 9-game road trip, beginning in Chicago against the Cubs on Tuesday.
