Milwaukee Brewers manager Ned Yost said it best last night when he stated that not much of anything is going right for his team these days.

The Brewers and rookie starter Yovani Gallardo fell behind early and lost to the St. Louis Cardinals 8-3 at Miller Park.  The Cardinals climbed to within 3 1/2 games of the Brewers in the Central Division and will play for the sweep today in Milwaukee.

Albert Pujols clubbed his 275th career home run and Scott Rolen had 4 of the Cardinals 13-hits on the night.  St. Louis pounded out 32 hits in the first two games of the series.

Gallardo allowed 7 runs on 9 hits in 5 2/3 innings and suffered the loss.
