If PNC Park fell off the end of the map and disappeared forever, the Milwaukee Brewers would host a big party. Why? Because the Pirates are one of the worst teams in baseball, yet the Brewers find it extremely difficult to win in Pittsburgh.
Last night, Pittsburgh's Tony Armas pitched six shutout innings and Nate McLouth clubbed a two-run homer among his 3-hit night, to lead the Pirates past the Brewers 9-0.
The Brewers have now lost four of five in Pittsburgh this season and the Brewers have lost 41 of 60 at PNC Park since it opened in 2001.
Armas combined with relievers Franquelis Osoria and Romulo Sanchez on a four-hitter and the Brewers dropped back into a first place tie with the Cubs in the NL Central.
