The Milwaukee Brewers completed a 3-game sweep of the Florida Marlins this weekend at Miller Park.  In doing so, a few records were broken.

Friday night, the Brewers notched a 4-1 win.  Coupled with a St. Louis Cardinals loss, the Brewers were able to clinch their first ever NL Central title and first franchise Division crown since 1982.

Saturday, closer John Axford set the franchise record for saves in a season as he closed the door on a 6-4 victory.  Axford now has 45 saves, breaking the record of 44 which was held by Francisco Cordero (2007).

Sunday, the Brewers wrapped up the series with their 55th home win of the season; a 9-5 victory.  The Brewers moved past the record of 54 home wins in a season set by the 1978 team.

Milwaukee opens a 3-game series Monday night at Miller Park with the Pittsburgh Pirates.  It is the final series of the 2011 season.
