The Milwaukee Brewers teed off on the San DiegoPadres last night, rolling to a 10-1 victory atPetco Park.

The Brewers banged out 16-hits, including home runs from Ryan Braun and Aramis Ramirez and Kyle Lohse (12-7) returned to the rotation, pitching six solid innings for his first victory since July 23.

Lohse missed his last start because of an ankle injury.  He returned to help the Brewers maintain their 1 1/2 game lead on the St. Louis Cardinals atop the NL Central.

Carlos Gomez, Ryan Braun and Aramis Ramirez all had three hits for the Brewers, while Ramirez and Gerardo Parra finished with three rbi’s.

The Brewers have now won five straight road games, the third time this season they’ve reached that total.

The Brewers and Padres play game two of the series tonight.  Jimmy Nelson (2-4, 4.15) goes for the Brewers.  San Diego sends Tyson Ross
(11-12, 2.68) to the mound.
