Milwaukee Brewers prospect Nathan Orf ended his season Sunday by playing all nine positions in a single game for the High-A Brevard County Manatees.

Orf if an infielder who started the game behind the plate.  He then played an inning each at all eight positions, then took the mound for the 9th.  After retiring the first batter he faced on a ground ball, Orf was pulled from the game.

The Manatees lost to the Dunedin Blue Jays 7-3 and Orf went 0 for 2 with a walk.  In 123 games this season, Orf hit .288 with 2 HR’s and 43 RBI’s.  He signed with the Brewers after being undrafted coming out of Baylor University in 2013.

Prior to Sunday’s game, Orf played 54 games at second base, 30 in right field, eight in left field, three at third base, two in center field and 25 as the designated hitter.
