Dave Bush had previously been miserable on the road, to the tune of a 1-6 record and a 6.94 ERA.  But you wouldn't have known about his struggles, based on last night's 8-1 win over the Reds in Cincinnati.

At Great American ballpark, Bush was 0-2 with a 14.24 ERA in five previous starts, but yesterday, the  Milwaukee Brewers jumped out to an early 2-0 lead and never looked back.  Prince Fielder apologized to the team and pitcher Manny Parra, for his altercation with Parra in the dugout a day earlier.  Then, Fielder followed with a 2-run homer, giving him 6 in the last 9 days.

Bush allowed just 1-run on 3-hits in 7 innings, walking 2 and striking out 7.  He improved his record to 6-9 and lowered his ERA to 4.50.  Jeff Suppan pitches the series finale today.
