9th inning, Davis came through with a broken bat single that drove in two runs, giving the Milwaukee Brewers a 4-3 win.

Ryan Braun started the 9th inning rally with a single, followed by back-to-back walks from Jonathan Lucroy and Mark Reynolds.  With two strikes on Davis, he connected with the game winner.

The Brewers earned 2 out of 3 in the series from the Pirates and gave them a winning home stand (5-4).

Davis entered the series against the Pirates hitting .212, but he finished 4 for 9 in the series.

The Pirates had taken the lead in the sixth when Gaby Sanchez clubbed a solo homer off of Yovani Gallardo, giving the Pirates a 3-2 advantage.  It stayed that way until the Brewers came from behind in the 9th.

Rickie weeks and Martin Maldonado both homered in the win for the Brewers.  Weeks continued his offensive tear, hitting .593 since April 25th.

The Brewers also improved to 8-0 when Maldonado starts at catcher.

The Brewers play the next ten games on the road, starting with a three game series in Chicago against the Cubs today.
