Early last month, it was the Houston Astros who swept the Milwaukee Brewers at Minute Maid Park. The Brewers returned the favor yesterday by capping off a 3-game sweep of the Astros with a 10-1 win at Miller Park.
Dave Bush (pictured) picked up the win, surrendering Houston's only run in the first inning when former Brewer Mark Loretta homered. But the Brewers answered with four runs of their own in the bottom half to allow Bush to coast to victory.
Ryan Braun and Russell Branyan both homered for the Brewers on Ryan Braun bobblehead day at the ballpark. Gabe Kapler and Craig Counsell each added two hits and two rbi's.
The Brewers wrap up the homestand with a 3-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks, beginning tonight (7:05pm).
