The Milwaukee Brewers will get a chance to put the road behind them for a while, playing the next 9-games at Miller Park.  They’ll open a 3-game weekend series against the Colorado Rockies tonight.

The Brewers wasted a good pitching performance from lefty Chris Narveson and fell to the San Diego Padres 1-0 at Petco Park last night.  Narveson worked 7 1/3 innings and allowed just 5-hits, but got no offensive support.

The Brewers have been shut out in 5 of the last 12 road games and went 0 for 8 with runners in scoring position last night.

Orlando Hudson’s sacrifice fly in the 9th inning off of Marco Estrada drove in the game winner in the 9th inning.  It gave the Padres a split of the 2-game series with the Brewers.

Milwaukee split the four road games and will now try to get better at home against the Rockies.

Ryan Braun

Brewers left fielder Ryan Braun left last nights game in the 5th inning with a sore left shoulder.  Braun extended his hitting streak to 9-games with a 1st inning single.
