Jim Edmonds will get a chance to go out a winner. The Milwaukee Brewers sent Edmonds to the Cincinnati Reds today in exchange for outfielder Chris Dickerson.
Edmonds was hitting .286 with 8 home runs and 20 rbi’s in 73 games with the Brewers this season.
Dickerson has been on rehab assignment at Triple-A Louisville since July 16th, hitting .442 with 3 HR, 7 RBI and 6 stolen bases in 13 games. Dickerson began the season on the Reds’ opening day roster and hit .205 in 20 games (10-starts) before landing on the disabled list with a hand injury.
