The Milwaukee Brewers signed outfielder Bill Hall to a four-year contract worth $24-million. The team also holds a club option for a fifth year that would bring the total value of the deal to just under $33-million.
Hall passed on a three year offer from the Brewers a year ago, hoping to have a better year and getting a better offer. That plan worked after Hall went out and hit .270 with 35 home runs and 85 runs batted in.
Hall played shortstop much of last year for the injured J-J Hardy , but he's expected to start in center field next season.
