The Milwaukee Brewers added some outfield depth by signing veteran Corey Patterson to a minor league contract.

Patterson split the 2011 season with Toronto and St. Louis, hitting .239 with 6 home runs and 36 rbi’s in over 133 games.  He played for the Brewers in 2009 for 11 games, going 1 for 14 with seven strikeouts.

Patterson was not invited to the Brewers’ spring camp but could still see time in exhibition games.  He’ll likely start the year at Triple (A).
