The Milwaukee Brewers were hoping to get well heading into the all-star break. Instead, they dropped 3-straight against the bottom feeding Cubs, including yesterday's 11-4 setback fefore a sellout crowd of 41,528 at Miller Park. The three straight setbacks dropped the Brewers 2-games under the .500 mark. The Brewers managed to score just 9-runs in the 4-game series against the Cubs. Doug Davis was the starter and loser for the Brewers. He walked Juan Pierre to lead off the game, one of his six walks on the day. Four of those six walks turned into Chicago runs. The Brewers did get home runs from Ricky Weeks and Carlos Lee in the loss. Things don't get easy for the Brewers to start the second half. They'll embark on a 10-day, 9-game road trip to Arizona, San Francisco and Cincinnati.
