The New York Yankees scored four runs in the fourth inning and went on to beat the Milwaukee Brewers 5-2 last night.  Russell Martin delivered the key blow, a 3-run homer run in the frame.

A.J. Burnett pitched into the eighth innings for the Yankees, who have won 4-straight and 14 of their last 18 games.

Shaun Marcum took the loss as the Brewers dropped their 7th road game in the last night.  At the official halfway point in the season, the Brewers dropped to 15-26 away from Miller Park, the worst mark among winning teams in the majors.

Ryan Braun had 3 singles and an RBI, extending his career-best hitting streak to 19 straight games.

Shaun Marcum (7-3) allowed 4-runs in 5-innings of work.

The Brewers will try to salvage the final game of the series this afternoon, but will have to beat C.C. Sabathia to do so.  Randy Wolf gets the nod for the Brewers today.
