Damian Miller clubbed a 11th inning walkoff game winning 3-run home run as the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Houston Astros 6-3, sweeping the 3-game series.
Miller's game winner was his third hit of the day and it came on La Crosse day at the ballpark. Bus loads of fans made the journey to support Miller, who is from the LaCrosse area.
The win capped an 8-1 home stand and moved the Brewers back to 14-games over .500, equalling their highest mark of the year.
Jeff Suppan, who had struggled in several of his previous starts, worked six solid innings yesterday and the Brewers bullpen then strung together 5 innings of scoreless relief. Dave Bush worked the final two innings to pick up the win.
