Rickie Weeks The Milwaukee Brewers continued their recent domination of the St. Louis Cardinals with an 8-4 win last night and a 3-game sweep of the series.  It's the 6th straight win for the Brewers who have now won 12 of 14 overall and 10 of their last 11 against the Cardinals.

Braden Looper carried a two-hitter into the 7th last night before giving way to the bullpen.  Looper picked up the win against his former team and improved to 4-2.

Jason Kendall became the eighth full-time catcher to reach 2,000 hits for his career to help the Brewers go to 20-5 after a 4-9 start.  Rookie Mat Gamel also slugged a 3-run homer, which is the first of his Major League Career.

The news wasn't all good for the Brewers though.  They lost second baseman Rickie Weeks for the season with a left wrist injury.  Weeks was hitting .272 with 9 home runs and 24 rbi's.  He hurt himself while striking out on Sunday.
