Brewers first baseman Prince Fieldre was voted the teams MVP by the the Milwaukee Chapter of the Baseball Writers Association of America. The All-Star hit .288 with 50 HR and 119 RBI in 158 games this season. Closer Francisco Cordero was named the Most Valuable Pitcher and Ryan Braun was the team's top rookie.
