The Brewers traded outfielder Jeremy Reed to Minnesota on Thursday for cash considerations. Reed started the season in Milwaukee before being sent to Triple-A Nashville. Reed was 0-7 as a pinch hitter early in the season with the Brewers. He was hitting .233 with 1 homer and six RBI in the minors.
