The Milwaukee Brewers 6-game win streak and 7-game home win streak is over, falling to the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-1 this afternoon.
Dodgers lefty Clayton Kershaw worked 8-shutout innings for the Dodgers, allowing just 5-hits to earn his 15th win (15-4) of the season. Jerry Hairston is the only Brewer to collect more than 1-hit. He doubled twice in the loss.
The Brewers only run came in the 9th inning. Ryan Braun doubled and Prince Fielder drove him in with a sacrifice fly.
The Brewers finished their home stand with a 6-1 record and will now head to New York to face the Mets for the start of a 3-game series on Friday.
