The Milwaukee Brewers ran their win streak to 9-straight games, a 6-3 win over the San Diego Padres at Petco Park in San Diego. It’s their longest win streak since 2003 when they recorded 10 straight victories.
The Brewers once again jumped out to an early lead and held on for the win.
Yovani Gallardo won his 2nd game of the season, but he was far from perfect. Gallardo walked 5 and struck out only 2 as he worked into the 7th inning. He was removed after walking the bases loaded in the 7th.

Once the Brewers got the game to the bullpen, it was lights out. Former closer John Axford worked a 1-2-3 8th inning and Jim Henderson pitched the 9th for his 5th save.
The Brewers go for the sweep and their 10th straight win against the Padres tonight.
