Just to be on somebody's free agent wish list was a flattering thought for the Milwaukee Brewers . Last week, Curt Schilling said if he couldn't come to an agreement with the Boston Red Sox, he'd consider a number of teams to pitch for next season. The Brewers were one of the dozen or so teams mentioned.
But, Brewers fans quickly had their hopes dashed when Schilling reached agreement on a new contract, a 1-year deal with the Red Sox, worth $8-million plus incentives.
