Wisconsin sophomore guard Ben Brust hit 4 of 5 from three-point range in the first half and scored 17-points to lead the Badgers to a 68-41 win over Colgate in men’s college basketball action at the Kohl Center.

Brust missed all three of his long-range tries in the second half.  As a team, the Badgers shot just 36.7% from the field in the second half, scoring just one basket in the first 8-minutes of the second half.

Brust has been impressive from long-range, hitting 8 of 16 in the first two Badger games this season, both of them wins.

The Badgers shooting woes extended to the foul line as well.  The Badgers hit just 4 of 14 from the stripe.  Wisconsin finished #1 in the country a year ago in free throw shooting, hitting 81.8% for the season.

The Badgers return to action Saturday at home against Wofford.
