17th ranked Marquette struggled offensively on Saturday and fell to 10th ranked Ohio State 52-35 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Saturday.
Ohio State started the second half with a 12-4 run to end Marquette’s 27-game home win streak.
Todd Mayo had 11 points to lead Marquette (2-1). It was Marquette’s first loss at the Bradley Center dating back to Dec. 29, 2011 when the Golden Eagles fell 74-57 to Vanderbilt.
Marquette shot just 19% (10 of 53) from the field and turned the ball over 20 times, giving the Golden Eagles their lowest offensive total since 2000 against DePaul.
Shannon Scott had 13 points and Aaron Craft 10 points and 10 assists to lead Ohio State.
