The Milwaukee Bucks blew a 21-point first half lead but rebounded to knock off the Charlotte Hornets 104-94 in overtime at Time Warner Cable Arena on Monday night.
Brandon Knight’s basket tied the game late in regulation and the Bucks outscored the Hornets 21-11 in overtime to pull out the win.
The Bucks (16-16) hit 7 of 8 from the field and 6 of 7 from the free throw line in the overtime, ending a 7-game slide against the Hornets.
Brandon Knight had 18 points to lead the Bucks, but struggled with eight turnovers. Giannis Antetokounmpo added 16 points, hitting 7 of 8 from the field and adding eight rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots.
Kemba Walker had 28 to lead Charlotte, but hit just 7 of 22 from the field.
In picking up their 16th victory, the Bucks have surpassed last seasons total win total of 15-victories. It comes well before the halfway point in the season.
The Bucks continue their road trip on Wednesday night, facing the Cavaliers in Cleveland.
