Carmelo Anthony scored 27 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in his New York debut as the Knicks held off the Milwaukee Bucks 114-108 before a sold out Madison Square Garden.
Former Denver teammate Chauncey Billups chipped in 21 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds in the win. Toney Douglas also had 23 points off the bench for New York.
John Salmons led the Bucks with 27 points. The Bucks are off until Saturday when they host the Chicago Bulls.
