The Milwaukee Bucks continued to look like a team missing one of its best players.  Without Andrew Bogut, the Bucks fell to the Atlanta Hawks 96-86 and now trail the Hawks 0-2 in the opening round of the NBA playoffs.

Joe Johnson scored 27 points and Josh Smith had 21 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the Hawks.

John Salmons had 21 points but is now 0 for 10 in the series from behind 3-point range.  Jerry Stackhouse added 15 points and Ersan Ilyasovahad 13 points and 15 rebounds for the Bucks.   Bucks coach Scott Skiles said his team clearly lacks playoff experience.

After trailing by 22 points at the half in game 1, the Bucks cut the gab to a 6-point deficit at the break last night.  But the Hawks opened the third quarter with an 11-2 run to put it away.

The Bucks shot just 41% from the field for the game and only 16.7% (4 of 24) from 3-point range.

The Bucks will try to get in the win column on Saturday when the series shifts back to Milwaukee for game 3.
