The Miami Heat, playing without guard Dwyane Wade and center Chris Bosh, managed to inch closer to securing the top overall seed in the upcoming NBA playoffs. The Heat knocked off the Milwaukee Bucks 94-83 and needs only one more win or one San Antonio loss to clinch the top overall seed for the entirety of the playoffs.
The Heat tied a franchise single-season record by winning for the 61st time, getting there with five games left int he regular season.
LeBron James scored 28 points in 30 minutes to lead the Heat. Udonis Haslem added 10 points and 15 rebounds for Miami.
Brandon Jennings scored 30-points for the Bucks, who will likely meet Miami in a first round Eastern Conference playoff series.
Playoff tickets
The Bucks will start selling playoff tickets for the first two home games in the opening round best-of-7 series. Those tickets will go on sale at noon on Friday.
