The Milwaukee Bucks will bring a total of 20 players to training camp, which opens September 29 on the University of Wisconsin campus in Madison.
Fifteen of the 20 players have guaranteed contracts. Besides Jorge Gutierrez and former Badger forward Marcus Landry, the Bucks signed three additional players to non-guaranteed deals, adding Josh Powell, Charlie Westbrook and Jon Horford to their training camp roster.
Horford is the brother of Atlanta Hawks forward Al Horford. He played as a redshirt senior at Florida last season after spending his first four years at Michigan.
The 26-year-old Westbrook is a Milwaukee native who played at the University of South Dakota. The 6-4 guard played in the Italian and French leagues while also spending time in the NBA’s D-League.
The 32-year-old Powell served as a player development coach for the Houston Rockets last season. The 6’9 forward is a seven-year league veteran with 316 career appearances and 28 starts, while playing for seven different teams.
