The Milwaukee Bucks made another strong second half comeback, but this time the rally fell just short, falling to the San Antonio Spurs 92-90.  Manu Ginobili’s fall-away 17 foot jumper at the buzzer sent the Spurs to their 21st victory (21-3) and the best record in the NBA.  It also kept the Spurs unbeaten against the Eastern Conference.

Ginobili finished with 26 points to lead the Spurs.  The Bucks got 21 points from Chris Douglas-Roberts and 20 points from Drew Gooden in the loss.

Bucks center Andrew Bogut blocked three shots in the final 2-minutes to keep the Bucks in it.  The Bucks had a shot to go ahead before Ginobili’s game winner, but the play they called broke down and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute missed badly.

Bucks coach Scott Skiles said Ginobili actually traveled before hitting the game winner and it went uncalled.  Skiles said you still have to give Ginobili credit for hitting a tough shot with Mbah a Moute right in his face.

The Bucks went 1-1 on their trip through Texas after beating Dallas on Monday night.  They’ll return to Milwaukee to host Utah on Saturday night.
