With 13-games left in the NBA regular season, the Milwaukee Bucks entered last nights game still in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff chase. While teams around them (Chicago, New Jersey, Charlotte) all won, the Bucks showed little enthusiasm or emotion in their 106-80 loss to the Orlando Magic at the Bradley Center. Orlando jumped out to a 30-point halftime lead.
The Bucks (31-39) are now 2-3 on their 6-game home stand that will wrap up against Portland on Saturday. Like in previous cases, the Bucks failed to build on the momentum of a previous win, in this case, Sunday's victory over the Boston Celtics. Coach Scott Skiles said the Bucks may have started to feel too good about themselves after the win over Boston.
Dwight Howard was dominating once again, leading the Magic with 28 points and 12 rebounds. He also dished out 7 assists in the win. Charlie Villanueva had 17 in the loss for the Bucks.
