The last time the Milwaukee Bucks saw the .500 mark this season; December 12th after an overtime victory at home against Portland. Their record then was 11-11.   Right now Milwaukee boasts a 27-28 mark.

The New Orleans Hornets (30-27) are up next for the Bucks tonight at the Bradley Center.  The two teams meet back on November 25th in the Big Easy with the Hornets earning a 102-99 overtime victory.  Luke Ridnour led the Bucks in that loss with 23 points and 10 assists.

The Bucks dodge a bullet tonight as New Orelans all-star guard Chris Paul will miss the game due to injury.  Paul missed the first meeting as well, but the Hornets still picked up the win.

The difference in the Eastern and Western Conferences shows-up in theis game; Milwaukee (27-28) is sitting in the 8th and final playoff spot in the East.  New Orleans (30-27) is in the 9th spot in the West 2-games out of the playoffs.  The Hornets would be the 6th seed in the east while the Bucks would be out of the post season in the 12th spot in the west.

Tonight’s tip from the Bradley Center is slated for 7:00 PM.
