Milwaukee Bucks second-year point guard Brandon Jennings is out 4 to 6 weeks while he recovers from surgery to repair a fracture in his left foot.
Jennings broke the long bone on the outside of his left foot that connects to the little toe.
Jennings had started every game since being picked 10th overall in 2009, a streak of 107-regular season games and 7-post season games. He was averaging 17.9 points and 5.5 assists a game in 25 games this season.
Keyon Dooling will take Jennings spot in the starting lineup and Earl Boykins will get more playing time off the bench.
The Bucks are opening a 3-game west coast road trip in Portland tonight.
