The Milwaukee Bucks are chasing Boston, Chicago and Atlanta in the NBA’s Eastern Conference playoff chase, trying to improve on their current 8th position in the playoff standings.  Last night, Boston lost to New Orleans and the Bucks were going head-to-head with Atlanta.  Unfortunately, the Bucks failed to take advantage and lost 98-90 in Atlanta.

Jeff Teague scored 27 and Al Horford 26 in the win for Atlanta.  Brandon Jennings had 21 for the Bucks in the loss.  The Bucks (34-33) trailed by 18 to start the fourth quarter and tried to come back.  But it wasn’t enough and the Bucks dropped a full game to the Hawks who now have a 3 1/2 game lead on Milwaukee.  The Bucks remain 2-games behind Boston and 2 1/2 behind Chicago.  The Bulls didn’t play last night.

The Bucks play next, at Indiana, on Friday.
