The NBA Draft is tonight and the Milwaukee Bucks have the 8th overall selection.
GM John Hammond says that it looks like the Bucks will keep the 8th pick in the first round tonight. At #8 he says the team must get a player that can come in and contribute right away. Hammond says that their draft board is done and now they must wait to see who gets selected ahead of their pick. He doesn't have a problem with taking a player they didn't bring in for a workout if one falls to them.
Milwaukee also has the 37th overall pick, which is the 7th selection in the 2nd round. Hammond says that there is talent to be had in round 2 this year.
The Chicago Bulls have the #1 overall pick tonight.
