As expected, the Milwaukee Bucks post-season last just 4-games. The defending NBA Champion Miami Heat pulled off the 4-game sweep with an 88-77 win on Sunday at the Bradley Center.
Miami won all four games in the series by double digits and hardly broke a sweat. The Heat pulled out a playoff sweep for the first time with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
James scored 30 points, pulled down 8 rebounds and dished out 7 assists in the win.
The Bucks managed to keep it close for a while, but the Heat went on a 19-5 4th quarter run to break it open.
The Bucks didn’t get much help from point guard Brandon Jennings since his 26-point effort in game 1. In the final three games of the series, Jennings scored a combined 27 points. On Sunday, Jennings scored three points in 22 minutes and sat the 4th quarter in the Bucks final game.
Monta Ellis had 21 points to lead the Bucks in the loss.
Change ahead
The Bucks future is really a clouded one. Monta Ellis has an $11-million player option for next year. Brandon Jennings is a restricted free agent and reserve J.J. Redick will be an unrestricted free agent.
In addition, the Bucks may be looking for their next head coach. Jim Boylan has held the post on an interim basis and there’s a chance he won’t be back. Boylan went
22-28 in the regular season after he replaced Scott Skiles in January.
