The Milwaukee Bucks appear to be moving forward without Brandon Jennings. Wednesday, Milwaukee signed Atlanta restricted free agent PG Jeff Teague to a 4-year, $32-million offer sheet. Because Teague is restricted, Atlanta will have 3-days to match the offer.
Teague is coming off the best year of his 4-year career, all with Atlanta. He averaged over 14-points and 7-assists playing under current Milwaukee Head Coach Larry Drew.
As for Jennings, this move doesn’t rule out a return. However, if the offer is not matched by Atlanta, it will be tough for the Bucks to come up with money to sign him. Earlier this week it was reported that he was seeking nearly $12-million per season. Jennings is also a restricted free agent.
Wednesday marked the first day that moves made since the July 1st “negotiating period” could become official.
