Coming off a 26-point setback at Portland on Monday night, things weren’t looking real good for the Milwaukee Bucks, who will play the next 4 to 6 weeks without their star point guard Brandon Jennings (broken foot). But looks can be deceiving.
The Bucks marched into Los Angeles last night and clamped down defensively on the Lakers, pulling out a 98-79 victory, despite being down to just 9 healthy players.
Bucks coach Scott Skiles said defense was the key to the win, holding the Lakers to 33 points in the second half.

The Bucks shot 50% from the field and 57% from 3-point range. Earl Boykins stepped up in a reserve role for the Bucks, hitting four 3-pointers and finishing with 22 points. John Salmons added 20.
