The Milwaukee Bucks won their second straight game on Monday night, knocking off the Orlando Magic 98-80 at the Bradley Center. Both wins have come at home with last night's win being the home finale.
Richard Jefferson scored 24 points and Ramon Sessions added 19 for the Bucks, who finished the home portion of their schedule with a 22-19 home court record. The Bucks played most of the year without two of their top players, Micael Redd and Andrew Bogut. Yet coach Scott Skiles said the home record just isn't good enough.
Skiles said he's not into finding a silver lining, such as finishing strong. The Bucks have have won two in a row, but the first was over a challenged Oklahoma City team and last night, against an Orlando team that is resting its top players for the postseason. The Magic played without Rashard Lewis, Hedo Turkoglu and all-star center Dwight Howard.
Skiles said there's some good and some bad in this season, but he admitted that the team did make some progress. They'll play their final game Wednesday night at Indiana, then it'll be time for Skiles and General Manager John Hammond to grade the players and formulate a plan for next season.
