A group representing small businesses in the state is hoping the November elections will lead to a repeal of the new national health care law.

Wisconsin Federation of Independent Business director Bill Smith says it’s a big factor in the current uncertainty in the economy, and their members are still very concerned about the impact of the law.

Smith says the health care reforms passed by Congress earlier this year and signed by President Obama missed the point. He says they won’t do anything to control costs, and will actually increase expenses for businesses.

He hopes voters will elect advocates of repealing the measure in November.
