undergone surgery to fix a ruptured left patella tendon. Butch injured his knee in a summer league game against the Lakers on Saturday.
Butch was leading the team in blocked shots before the injury, averaging 1.5 blocks a game. He was signed by Denver in April. A timetable for his return to the court is unknown.
