Chris Capuano won for the first time since July 6th, pitching the Brewers to a 4-1 win over the Colorado Rockies. Capuano tossed six scoreless innings, allowing just three hits, improving his record to 11-8. He also escaped a bases loaded, no-out jam in the 4th. Jose Capellan worked two innings, recording the final five outs by strikeout. Laynce Nix had two hits and drove in three runs, making his second start in centerfield. The Rockies run came in the 9th on a Matt Holliday home run. Francisco Cordero picked up the save, his 10th in 10 tries.
