Chris Capuano can't buy a win and the Milwaukee Brewers now have a decision to make regarding his future in the rotation.

The St. Louis Cardinals tallied 19 hits, 17 of them singles, beating the Milwaukee Brewers 12-4 at Miller Park on Tuesday night.  It sent the Brewers to their 15th straight loss when Capuano starts a game.  Capuano is 0-10 during that stretch.

The Brewers are 8-16 in their last 24 games, and while their lead on the Chicago Cubs remains 1 1/2 games, the St. Louis Cardinals are now just 4 1/2 out, making this a three-team race in the Central Division.

The Brewers did jump out to a 3-0 lead on first inning home runs from Prince Fielder and Geoff Jenkins, but they would quickly surrender that lead.

Manager Ned Yost will have a decision to make soon.  Does he give Capuano another start, or does he look elsewhere.  It's a decision that will be discussed with General Manager Doug Melvin in the next day or two.

Meanwhile, the Brewers and Cardinals play game 2 of their series at Miller Park tonight.
