How will the U.S. Supreme Court rule on health care reform? That depends on who you ask. Wisconsin is among states suing over the constitutionality of a key element in the Affordable Care Act, a case the high court is reviewing.

State Attorney General JB Van Hollen is spearheading Wisconsin’s participation in the lawsuit and was in Washington when the case was being heard. Van Hollen recently told a crowd of Republicans, one can’t predict a ruling based on justices’ questioning but he feels “very, very good about our possiblities.”

Judy Waxman, an A.C.A supporter and attorney with the D.C. based National Women’s Law Center, recently told a Wisconsin crowd she’s optimistic “the law will be upheld and we can move forward.”

At issue is whether it’s constitutional to require people to buy health coverage as mandated in the federal law.
