Former President Clinton will be in Green Bay this Friday to campaign for President Barack Obama. The campaign stop has been confirmed by the Obama campaign; details on the location and time are to be announced later this week.

Clinton was most recently in Wisconsin on June 1st. He campaigned in Milwaukee on behalf of that city’s mayor, Tom Barrett, in the recall election against Governor Scott Walker.

First lady Michelle Obama will be campaigning in Wisconsin the same day as the former president. Mrs. Obama is scheduled to be in Racine and Wausau on Friday. She’ll speak at the Racine Civic Centre, with doors opening at 10:30 am. Afterward, she’ll travel to Wausau for an afternoon rally at the UW Marathon County two-year campus. Those doors will open at 1:15 pm.

Mrs. Obama is expected to encourage supporters to vote early. Absentee balloting is currently being conducted by mail in the Badger State; in-person voting begins Monday October 22 at local clerks’ offices statewide.

The first lady was in Appleton just a couple weeks ago.
