A Wisconsin Senator focuses on "hot spots" during Hillary Clinton's time in the "hot seat." During Clinton's screening before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Russ Feingold (D-Wisconsin) asked the Secretary of State nominee about the violent African nation of Sudan and its region of Darfur.

He acknowledged Clinton and President Elect Obama as being "outspoken advocates" of stopping genocide in Darfur. He says it's important the incoming administration signal their commitment to the issue on "day one." The Wisconsin Democrat ran through a few proposals that have been tossed around such as sanctions, bombing campaigns and no fly zones.

"There is a great need for us to sound the alarm again about Darfur," responded Clinton.

Clinton says if confirmed she will conduct a review of the region then assist in deploying the United Nations African Union forces. Clinton says further policy may include sanctions and no fly zones.

Senator Feingold also asked Clinton about Iraq troop withdrawal and dealing with Afghanistan.
