A poll shows most people in the state want changes in the country’s immigration policies.
A coalition of business groups released the findings yesterday, while calling on President Obama and Congress to work together on the issue.
George Klaetsch is with the Partnership for a New American Economy, and he says a lack of action would affect the economy. He says businesses need stability with their workforce.
The poll found that 87 percent believe the immigration system should be fixed, and another 81 percent want lawmakers to take action this year.
