A former Crandon parole officer accused of stealing lobsters from a grocery store in northeastern Wisconsin reaches a plea deal in Forest County.
Fifty-five-year-old Karen Boodry pleads guilty to disorderly conduct charges on Friday. Police say she walked into a Crandon grocery store and stole a pair of lobsters by unwrapping them and putting the crustaceans in her purse.
As part of the plea bargain, prosecutors dropped a theft charge and fined her a total of $582. No jail time will be served as part of her sentence.
Charges were also dropped against her grandson Donald Kilbury who worked at the store and watched her steal the lobsters.
