A Grand Chute woman is facing multiple charges for allegedly abusing her daughter because the Green Bay Packers lost on Sunday. The 36-year-old woman is accused of strangling her 11-year-old daughter twice, once during the game and once after.

Court records indicate the girl could not breathe during the second attack. The woman also allegedly threw her dinner on the floor and broke a lamp. Alcohol appears to have been a factor in the incident, which took place at a hotel in Grand Chute.

The woman is facing a felony child abuse charge, along with misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and bail jumping.
