Wisconsin is intercepting government rebate checks from deadbeat parents, and that's not sitting well with one dad from the Fox Valley. Imagine Karla Lehman's surprise the other night when she saw her ex husband on a Green Bay TV station's newscast, complaining that the state was going to intercept his federal tax rebate check because's he's behind in child support. "He is a deadbeat, and I cannot believe that he is throwing a fit over under a thousand dollars, when he owes so much money," Lehman said, explaining that her ex owes some $36,000 to her daughter a daughter he had with another woman. "He's making himself look like an idiot, and that embarrasses me." The ex told the Green Bay TV station that President Bush might as well just keep the money, because it would be better spent that way, rather than going toward back child support.
